The following Panel Physicians are available in this country - ordered by city:

City: la Habana
Name: Medical Team Cuba
Address: Hospital Docente Dr. Enrique Cabrera (Hospital Nacional),
Calzada de Aldabo No 1117,
Esq E Altahabana,
Boyeros,
Telephone: (53 7) 6471178
Spoken Languages: Spanish

▼ Medical exam instructions

Your own doctor cannot perform the medical exam. You must see a doctor on the list of panel physicians.

The panel physician will perform a complete medical exam and may refer you for chest x-rays and laboratory tests. Once your exam has been completed, the physician will send the results to CIC.

The panel physician does not make the final decision about your medical exam. CIC makes that decision. If there is a problem with your medical exam, the visa office will contact you in writing.

When you go to your appointment, you must bring:

•proper identification (you will need at least one document your photograph and signature, such as a passport, driver's licence or national identity card)
•eye glasses or contact lenses, if you wear them
•any medical reports or test results that you have regarding to previous or existing medical conditions, and
•the Medical Report form (IMM 1017E), if you do not undergo an up-front medical exam. The visa office will send you this form.

Hi Everybody :D I am an oldie but goodie on here lol My lawyer called today and I will be having an ADR(Alternative Despute Resolution) for my appeal hearing. A quick resolve hearing instead of a full hearing. This is what the IAD(Immigration Appea Division) has granted me/us. Hopefully it will be soon and that I will be successful and onto hubby's visa at long last. Feeling a bit nervous now. I had my first chemo/immunotherapy treatment Monday 8 hours( slowly administered) and Tuesday 1 hour and 45 minutes. So far I need to have 6 times 12 treatments with 2 days together and a maintenence of every 3 months of the immunotherapy for 1 to 2 years for Non- Hodgkin's Follicular Lymphoma. This is very treatable they said as it is very slow growing and they think I have had it awhile. It may come back in about 10 years or so or longer and when it does just treat again like now and it will all go away again. Who knows maybe a vaccine by then also. That would be good. I am feeling not too bad. A little tired but over all not bad. I go every 4 weeks so November will be my second time. I had breast cancer twice before and had 35 radiation treatments teh first time with a partial mastectomy. I think now they don't do that anymore, they just do the mastectomy. The second time full mastectomy no treatment after. I am still getting reconstruction surgeries since 2010 but getting close to getting finished but have to wait until I finish my treatments for this now. They said about 3 weeks post my last chemo/ immunotherapy session. I am lucky or no I should say God is taking care or watching over me. I am blessed indeed. Thankyou God XO Just wanted to share. I am so happy. Congratulations to all receiving their visa's to Canada. Welcome to Canada also :D 8) ;D :) :p :-* May God Bless all of you

Hi

The medical and the police report is supposed to be sent with application. If they are not the application is considered incomplete. I have read that you can wait to send the medical however it delays the application quite a bit longer. I am in the middle of gathering all the documents now. I have been told that the Havana meds are booked for Dec so I am on my way to Cuba Nov 25th and will get my husband to call Havana then He is in Banes. If we are not able to get meds we may send without and wait the extra time.

They don't have to be but it really is best that it is done prior to submitting your application and then hand everything in all at once.
Hi myself completed all forms and documents and submitted everything that was requested and my approval only took 5 1/2 months. If you look at my Time table you will see.
Good luck, wish you the best and welcome

Hello,
thanks for your explanation Brooksee. Then its better to wait for the medical examination. my question now is do the doctors give you back the result because I thought they send it themselves to the CIC. Can someone clarify that for me if its possible please.
Thank you.
