Hey Ladies!

Sorry I have been absent for the past few days... getting ready for this trip has been the most hectic ever!! Shuster, I hope hubby has landed safely and you guys are both nesting! KJG-Hope the wedding was beautiful! Sassy-Hope you and baby are doing well!! The rest of you, hope phone calls are coming soon!!

I am off in just a few hours for a whole two weeks!! AHHHH so excited!! Monday the interview, so everything is ready, have another pile of papers for continuing proof. Just 10 days of our conversations adds up to 60 pages, so I am reluctant to bring more.. lol Hoping that the trips, phone bills, pics add up to a good enough amount of info!

I will likely not be able to post while I am there, but if I get the chance I will! Still have not had the chance to receive the notes, so I am hoping they come in asap!! Today is the 30th day....

Anyhoo, wishing all of you a very happy holidays and a happy new year!! Ill be back on the 4th, so I will give you news on whether or not hubby has landed with me!!! AHHHHHHHHH!! So surreal!!

Avana and DDG are off for a wonderful christmas with their loved ones.

Good Morning Cuba Thread!!!!! Well last official day of work till the New Year!!!! We are having Christmas at home this year and on Christmas Eve we are having a fondue with 9 family members and on Christmas Day will have 17 for dinner. Hoping the weather gets cold like predicted so we can have a skating party on the pond and give Yoani his first taste of skating!!!! It was snowing here like crazy this morning and he was outside taking pictures and emailing them to Cuba....truly fascinated by the snow. So far it has been very mild so the next few days will be interesting to see how he reacts to the -16 that they are predicting!! I am still not ready for Christmas but am so excited!!!! I went to the liquor store yesterday and got him Havana Club rum white and dark for the hot buttered rum I make!!!!

I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.....with Luvcuba's husband getting his visa...and another interview on the 24th and I have another friend who has an interview on the 27th I am positive the year is going to end on a very happy note indeed.

Havana seems to be moving nicely along and I can't wait to hear more positive updates from everyone!!!!

Not too much from Shuster so I am sure she is enjoying hubby's landing very much!!!!

Good Evening Forum!

I hope everyone is staying safe and warm this evening. It is chilly and wet out there!! Laritza and I ventured out this afternoon downtown to drop off a package to a friend who is from Cayo Coco and flying into Santa Clara tomorrow. My hubby will be meeting her to get the package. I wish it was us flying there for Christmas. But I know we will be there soon. I really miss the warm Cuban air and my mind keeps thinking about being there last Christmas.

but KJG's cheery message made me feel Christmasy : ) I will be honest because I have been so busy with my daughter...Christmas is not hitting our household this year. But those hot buttered rums sound amazing....and the thought of a white chirstmas also gets me in the spirit!! Thanks KJG xoxox

I hope Shuster gets on here soon to update us : ) I am itching for some news!!!

NO he does not need need anything from your passport.....to verify trips send copies of boarding passes......when I went with my husband to the interview they did not ask anything of me or talk to me!!!!

Staying home..... working right up til Xmas Hubby has interview January 07th 2013 so hopefully he will be here soon. Thankyou for the positive thoughts,I appreciate this very much, thankyou sassy... XO
