Hello guys ,

I have a question , my wife student visa got rejected 2 times and now I’m applying her spousal sponsorship , I’m confused about the below question should I select YES or NO ?I’m inclined towards NO because it’s a student visa but in the question they didn’t mention it . Please suggest your answer is helpful.

Has XXXX been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

You have to choose Yes. Student Visa is a subcategory of temporary resident visa.

just the reason should be enough ??Because we didn’t have UCI number since it was applied long ago.

Yes Just the reason s fine, they do not expect you to remember the UCI all the time.
