Has anyone applied for citizenship without a copy of COPR?

As the title states, have you applied for citizenship without a copy of the confirmation of permanent residence, and explained why you don't have this document in possession? Any issues?

We did. We lost our COPR Original and applied for "Verification of Status Document". So we used this to apply for citizenship and also explained in the forms why we couldnt submit original COPR.

Hi,

I lost mine and requested for a verification of status (VOS) or replacement of an immigration document a few years ago. When I applied for my citizenship in April 2016, I submitted my VOS with an explanation stating why I didn't have the original document. I didn't have any issues at all and got my citizenship in July 2016.

When I was taking my citizenship test, there was a lady there who had lost her COPR and they told her to apply for VOS asap but still let her take the test.
