Hi All,

Happy early Canada Day!

This is what's happening in Korea:

There is a family BBQ near the Canada Embassy in Seoul. There will be various events and activities set up on a school soccer pith for kids. In the evening there is a free outdoor concert downtown Seoul.

How is Canada day in your country?

HEY!

I am currently in Seoul. Where is the bbq?

Across the street from Canada Embassy at the middle school. Contact CanCham Korea for tickets. It's this Saturday '29 at 300PM.

Canada Day is my husband's former wedding anniversary from his first marriage. We pretend it doesn't exist :P

Not really :P I did plant a hanging basket for Canada Day. It got pretty beat up by the flood (excess rain, it grew mold on my flowers... grrr), but maybe I'll get unlazy and upload a pic.

Fireworks! At major parks across the country and smaller displays of the same put on by local community residents.

In Montreal, it is the fifth largest parade. It is only preceded by Gay Pride, Saint-Jean Baptiste, Saint-Patrick's day, and the Santa Claus parade. ;)

Just a detail but it is supposed to be a celebration of Canada as a nation and not a celebration of the expediency of its bureaucracy.

Hope you can find time to enjoy it nonetheless. :P

lol calm down. i understand your frustration but you cant let it mar your feelings for canada. problem is we have a hostile majority government intoxicated by the power they wield.

It looks like they are sold out. They have a limited number of tickets at the door. The price is 40,000 at the door.

Have you been before?

I'm back in Canada now but I was in London for Canada Day last year and it was an awesome party in Trafalgar Square. Pancake breakfast, mounties, music performances, street hockey, poutine :). And Our Lady Peace put on a great show at the end of the night.

Had a look for this year, The Tragically Hip are closing out the day :)

Not sure if you know this already, or possible have a fungicide on hand. But, if you mix 2 TB of bleach/javex with one cup of water and spray the plant/s it will kill the mold and not the plants.

With regards to Canada Day, I get to pick up my husband!! ;D

Take Care
