I needed to leave Canada on a 2 year professional assignment in a foreign country. Before I leave Canada, I was resident of Quebec province. My questions:
- As for CRA: Do I need to notify them or do I just have to wait until I fill in my next tax return for the changes to become active?
- As for driving license: do I have to surrender my license or can I keep it? I heard there is a possible fine when the move is not declared to driving license office in a timely manner (30 day), is that correct?
Anything else I should be aware of?
