Anyways...again....do they do nominations in batches as they do file numbers?

Pre-Assessment - 10/23/2008

Invitation received - 11/12/2008

Application submitted - 12/22/2008

File# received - 02/19/2009

Filenumber - XX-X54X

Now, waiting for the Nomination...

Don't get stressed yet. Look at different visa options in the US and Canada if your H1B situation does not look good. Stay positive and look at it this way- as each day passes you are getting a day closer to your nomination from AINP!

So far there was only 1 person who reported about getting a PR from the H1-SRS category. All the best to you... that's all I can say, as I am also in the same boat...

I tried to call and find out the status but they said that they are not answering any questions about H1B status at all. They said : JUST WAIT!(up to 5-6 monthes).

Better if Nobody call them. Let them work in thier own pace. Peace!

APPLIED ON 22nd OCT'08 for pre-assessment
23rd OCT'08 they asked for more doc.
26TH Confirmation of receipt

21st nov, Package received
18th Dec, pacakage send
19th feb , package received confirmation email,they received my package on 27th Dec.
& my file number is x535.

Now waiting for nomination.........

I thought those 60 working days start from the day we get the File Number and not the day they received the application..
Pls correct me if i am wrong..
