Ell Bee,
I have misunderstood the file received date in Vsrao's spreadsheet then. The Email from Alberta is timestamped March 24th, but the content of the email says "Alberta received my file on Feb 13th".

DJ (deveshjaitley) or vsrao, Can you please update this information, please change my file received date from Feb 13th to Mar 24th.

~SA

Just to make it clear, this is what i received from Alberta.

Ell.Bee - thanks for sharing this info.

To me it appears that a fire-and-forget-until-it-resurfaces approach is all we can take now for our applications. If we do get to speak to some one in AINP we know what the answer is going to be. I'm also around the same time frame as your case and still hold faith that we will hear sometime end of this month on our nominations. Cross your fingers!

Best of luck!

El Bee, when you say "File number received on March 19th", do you mean "Email from Alberta with File Number has a timestamp March 19th", or "Alberta says in the email, we created the file number on March 19th"?

abInMind,

I see that you too are preassesed and infact have received the file number in Feb. Have you tried calling them?

Manny,

You are right, thats all we can do at this time is wait and see what happens. Hope what I was told is what happens :)

I suggest the folks who received the file numbers in Jan/Feb and still not got the nomination should call AINP and check what they are saying. I was told today that the day when they issue the file number is the time they actually start working on the case. So for the ones who received the file numbers in Jan/Feb have already crossed 4-6 months.

Thanks for your post Ell Bee. The only thing that concerns me is the inconsistency of AINP. When you call them up sometime they say they are trying to maintain the 4 month timeline and sometime they say they are not sure. I am not sure what to believe!!!!!

Thats what surprises me ! Each time I call they say 4 months and nothing is on hold. I have been getting a consistent repsponse. Twice I talked to ladies out there and today that was a gentleman, every person I got on the line was polite and patient enough to answer all my questions.

That is why I am asking others to call and share their experience with everyone.

Also here is the suggestion, when you call you can ask for the persons name who you are talking to. This way we can guage if it is just the person who we talk to giving us a type of response. I should have done that myself, taken the name of the person who I talked to, but I did not. Sorry.

Dear Ell.Bee,

Today I called AINP office, one lady said same things as to you.

She said if I am in hurry ,then I need to find job offer letter from any Alberta's Company in my field.

Nothing else.

Thank you very much for your info.
I got a file number in march.
I hope I would get a nomination in The end of July or August.

I can't stand for living without having PR.
SO hopefully we will get the Nomination certificate sooner.
