No Alberta employer is even replying for my applications with foreign address and phone number.

dont waste time on applying for job...we have wasted enough already for applying to AINP...

i agree, there is 1 in million chance some employer will hire u without having some kind of face to face interview...even after hiring which employer will say "okay its fine to join after 7 months when cic process is done and u land in AB".

the whole propaganda by AINP is sham. they are only trying to keep their own jobs alive by saying that program is up and running simply by issuing file #s. In reality, it has been dead for 2 months with no nomination so far. Only a lucky few who applied early before dec'08 and few from jan '08 went through....

Yep. Once in was fast track deal, not anymore. same with anyother options FSW ....US immigration.
Hope is the only hope right now if you are desperate about AINP nomination. looking at "TEST EMAIL", I believe AINP is atleast working to prepare nomiations.

Why should one go through lawyer (unless you believe time is the money) for AINP nomination when immigraiton website says "not to" and AINP is not rejecting your applicaion for missing documents anyways.

Yeah it's a shame!!!!! If you look at VSRao's spreadsheet no nominations have been issued for applications sent after Jan 15th (Old Process). I don't think any folks from new process have got nominations. So it kind of sucks. Well as for me I have already exhausted my 6 years of H1B and am returning to my homecountry of Peru. My company is shutting down operations here and have shipped design jobs to India and manufacturing to Taiwan. I was offered the option to go to India but am not sure after seeing so many Indians in this forum who want to move to Canada. Looks like there are lots of jobs in India. Can one re-apply for FBI clearance and state clearances from outside the US. Looks like I may have to get all my documents again when I move to Peru

Sonu81,

Stop discouraging other applicants. This forum is for encouraging and helping applicants.

1) We guys wasted money and time to collect documents and some even collecting PCC's
=> AINP has clearly said not to apply for PCC's till you get nomination.
2) AINP guys earned wages and still earning by issuing file #'s
=> That is none of your business. You are not paying for it in any. Even nor from the taxes you are paying

Now you know what i mean.

I agree there is some problem and there is very little we can do change it. If he does not send the documents and the officer in hellbent on receiving them, he might get rejected. Why take a chance? Just give what they asked for. Never know they might have lost, misplaced or damaged the ones from the original application. Human errors happen!

Guys,

Alberta introduced SRS-H1B AINP in 2009 as a PILOT program. This was never included on their website or open to general public. They set up seminars to promote this and was not very popular at that time.

Since Jan 1, 2009 this is no longer PILOT, it is a new stream introduced in their immigration process. The differnce in the two is that PILOT scheme had the preassement stage prior to the application. Now it is no longer seperate and is done with the application processing. Now this scheme is visible to everyone.

The fact is that when the scheme was PILOT, in 2008 they received around 500-600 application. This is from May 2008 - December 2008.

Now this year between Jan 2009 and July 2009 we are seeing file numbers issued approx 3000. These are the applications they received until March/April and have issued file number. Since then there might be equal number of applications pending. In short, this has really grown out of their expecatations when compared to when they were in PILOT mode.

It is obvious they have to some control on the number of approvals as the approvals will impact CIC load. There is nothing to worry about, it is just time which will fix this rush.

Also we know that not all the applications are with the true intention of immigration to Alberta, they are just for backup. Things should improve with time.

Ok now I understand what you mean by the 'Problem'. They sent out some test communications to applicants and that has caused the confusion.

That email did not say that ‘You are nominated'. Also it does not sound like a erroneous communication from AINP and is no way related to the AINP TEST mail that Nag71 received.

you have to find certified finger print specialist in your country, you can still get it wherever you are. yea, you are out of h1b unfortunately you are of nomination process , thats what AINP wants now :(

I also got an email with subject: AINP - TEST EMAIL to send below supporting docs. And later another email to disregard the previous email. [/b].

Forms:
Confirmation of Current Employment:
Candidate's supporting documents:
Candidate's Application for Permanent Residence:
