Gooday everyone and a happy new year! Please, how can an individual apply to return back to Canada when they departed and was given a certificate of departure? He sought refugee in Canada but was denied and this resulted in a mental stress for the individual. He attended the CBSA office to tell them about his situation and was promptly arrested and then given the option of leaving to come back or he will be deported. He had to take the former option and so he wants to come back again. How will he go about it? Will it be easy given the way Canada is all out to restrict people from going in. Thanks

When did he leave Canada? Realistically unless he obtains PR it will be very difficult to return as a temporary resident.
Hi, I'm planning to request my GCMS notes next week, since it will be 39 months since I submitted my application and I still haven't received anything...
Do you think that requesting GCMS notes could further extend the processing time? I had already requested them once before, about two years ago, and the notes I received weren't really significant. However, I'm hoping that my application has made good progress by now.

Definitely apply for another one.
Btw one of my friends has applied for gmcs notes and haven’t received yet.
I am not gonna apply right now because there is no update in my case since they sent it to a special unit.

it won't delay processing. In fact, I believe if your application is languishing, it might possibly help draw some attention to it.
