As if the CBSA is going to even takeit into consideration? Even if you have a user’s IP address, its approximate location and the cbsa wont be knocking on doors or contacting shaw for user identity.
Many here don't understand just how little protection they have in terms of privacy. CSIS and CBSA both process this data when someone's is enrolled in the immigration progress - they don't have to knock doors when they've built-in integrations. What that individual did was extremely concerning. Even if our reports do nothing, they significantly raise the bar of scrutiny on these individuals during the processing.
I've been talking to MPs from a couple months sharing direct evidences now. If it does nothing immediately, it will do something in the long-term to fix the issues. It is what we can do as a Canadian at the end of the day vs simply spectating.
