779 multiplied by 48 Weeks (Saturdays only from Jan 31)
=
37,392 ITA

CIC cant meet its immigration targets this way.

Either employer will start issuing LMIA or CIC will have to invite people without Job Offers.

Let's see what happens

What I think too, CIC will always withdraw only 779 ITA's, and then post the CRS for whomever those ITA's have the least score.

Perfect calculation desertFox.
+1 for that.
i also think, the score will come down to somewhere in the 400's and stop there.

We cannot second guess the score for the draw. Its not a guess work but entirely based on supply and demand. If they get enough candidates they might not drop the score or if they don't get enough candidates, score might drop. So rather than guessing, try to increase your score and you never know when you might get lucky.

Increasing score to this level definitely needs an LMIA...what do people sitting outside Canada do?? look for another country??...job bank is also not starting :'(

My guess is CIC is deliberately making ITAs low and driving required points high enough so that no existing people gets ITA without LMIA.
Then after provinces get the PNP program running and job bank usage starts picking up (thus more LMIA be issued to foreign job seekers), then they will increase ITAs. But by then, lots of people in the pool will have LMIA or PNP and required points aren't going to drop so much. #Conspiracy

But even that, I still don't get how they are going to achieve 132k target under EE

Where is the source for this 132K?
Does this number include Principal applicant + dependents??

My bad it was 114-122k. Add FSW/FST, CEC, PNP together.

1. The total number includes Principals and dependents.

Sonewhere in hgh 700's for sure.
all I want to see is how long can they hold their 779.
might be that 779 is just a coincidence. Let's see!

any rationale for this?

Job bank has just started working ...may be wef 10th Feb.
But seems flow of job options may take some more time. Very difficult to get additional 600 points sitting outside Canada.
Anyway, just update your profile for the time being ...
