Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
hello all,

I have a question related to my situation, I was hired as a permanent employee when I was a 4th year student in May 2014 , and I graduated 2 month later. now I am in CPA program with permanent job position in the same company. how can I apply through EE next year? thank you. :-[ :-[

If you have a permanent position, you should have a decent priority in the express entry queue since that's what CIC have stated all the time.

Once the program starts (Jan 2015), you can create a profile and submit Expression of Interest. If CIC picks you, you can apply PR through one of the applicable streams.

No one really knows the actual operation yet because CIC haven't said anything about it. And we don't know the details of selection criteria so let's hope more info comes out down the road.

thanks, buddy, coz i do not know whether they need language test or not for my situation.

You will still need your language test (IELTS/CELPIP), at EOI stage or after you got invitation. either way you'll need it (remember you are still applying under CEC/FSWP/PNP whichever one you are applying)

I will receive my offer letter from flemming college by 16th NOV and by 22nd NOV GIC account will get open. I want to know that for JAN 2015 intake under SPP what is the last date to apply for visa application. I haven't taken any dates for visa yet. thank-you

Hi benzylamine,

If you have a permanent job offer in BC in skill level O, A or B, and you are a graduate of a Canadian university, then you should be able to apply for BC PNP right now, even without any experience. The offer letter is all you need.

To apply to the PNP as a recent graduate of a Canadian institution, you must have the following:

  • A degree, diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada.
  • A job offer for an indeterminate full-time position that typically requires a university or college education at a wage that allows you to establish yourself economically in B.C.

No LMIA required, but make sure you satisfy the income requirements and your employer satisfies the employer requirements. Most likely, you won't even have to wait until next year to apply :)

thanks, buddy, I just talked with my HR, they agreed to support me, my job position is junior accountant, I think it is in NOC B, is that right?

That's good to know :) Make sure you satisfy the income requirements, the job is permanent, and that your employer satisfies all requirements for employers.

Keep in mind though, that accountant can either be NOC 1431 (Skill Level C) or NOC 1311 (Skill Level B). 1311 will qualify, but 1431 is level C, and is a bit complicated. Double check your job descriptions against the following:

NOC 1311

NOC 1431

thanks, I am a little bit confused coz these two looks like similar, my offer said "Your main function
will be to assist within the financial aspects at the corporate office and to work with the
management team to create “financial focus” within our company.Your duties also include, but are not limited to: full cycle accounting duties for some of our smaller companies, job costing, budgets, and access and excels queries, confidential filing and
other general clerical duties as required." how you think?
