Hi All,

Just recently got married in India, my wife have applied for SOWP (spouse open work permit), in the meantime is it okay/possible to apply for PR too for both of us? I'm now on open work permit and its going to expire next year November month. My wife did not give her IELTS exam, does she need to give IELTS for PR? and how to check my CRS score outside otherthan CIC website?

Thanks very much for your help in advance.

Only question I have is why would you want to check your CRS score on a site other than CIC as only what you score on the CIC CRS tool counts as being reliable.

Yes.

If you are the principal applicant, it is not mandatory for your wife to take a language exam, or to do the ECA. However, you will miss out on those points if she does not.

???
I'm going to guess that what you mean is, you want to calculate your score without actually submitting the profile.

You can use the IRCC calculator to estimate your score.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

There are other sites that also provide calculators for estimation purposes.
