Got letter for medicals

No no i dint submit any sop with my application. I just followed the spp checklist strictly and dint give anything less or more. Dont worry dude.... I think you will receive good news soon.
My passport status right now is- passport received on 01/12/2010 and is send to canadian high commission for onward submission... Fingers still crossed dude... Lets hope for the best.

how many days after the medical u submitted the passport ? should we wait for 5 days after medicals ??

no the medical reports will be dispatched by the doctor to the canadian high commission in delhi. I just had to submit my passport. And its not after 5days. Its withing 5days from the date u take ur medicals. So i took my medicals on 30th november and i resubmitted my passport on 1st december. Am still worried bro. Lets see when i get the news from the embassy.
By the way i guess ur passport status will soon pretty soon. In which city did u apply? Pray and lets hope for the best. Lets stay positive.

am going for jan intake in georgian college. Course is one yr graduate certificate course in human resource management. Did ur passport status change?

Dont worry dude... U ll surely get a medical cal. I hope u gave all your documents correctly. Am waiting after my medicals...
 
Medicals are given when your visas are 99% Confirmed, 1% could be the risk of your failing the medical test which happens in rare cases. The other reason would be after your medicals the officer gets a doubt on your file which I have seen never happened.

Yes, when you do your medicals your passport arrives with your medical letter, when you do your medicals the doctor will give you a form signed which has to be sent back with your passport back to VFS. (Your medicals will be sent by the doctor to Delhi)

u r correct dude. And the form which the doctor gives is the receipt right. I submitted my passport back to the vfs with the copy of all the receipts given to me during my medicals. Now my passport status is under processing. Am just pissed off with this 'under processing' word.
What about you? U got your medicals done?
 
I have applied for visa for University of Calgary for MEng in Petroleum Engineering (VFS HYderabad)

This is my timeline:

Applied on: 19th Oct, 2010
Got passport back for medicals on: 25th OCt
Medicals: 27th OCt
Re-submitted passport after medicals: 28th Oct
Passport reached CHC on: 1st Nov
Current Status: Under processing.

They are taking such a long time, uff !

i dont think so that they take so long. Why dont u drop them a mail with your file number and ask your query? I thnk they take around 2 weeks but i dont know what taking them so long to reply. Am also waiting for my visa. Lets see. Fingers crossed still. Lets hope for the best...
