Thanks for the reply. I have gone ahead as per the suggestion, however do you think that Letter of explanation is needed for this or mandatory as I am not showing this under Education section, rather in personal history section ...

Letter of Explanation is not mandatory. but a document with 3-4 sentences won't do any harm.
