So I have applied to express entry before, but at that time my work experience was not enough to have high points. But at that time ( Jan 2016 ish) I was eligible for both CEC and FSW.

I have withdrawn that profile and created a new one to add my new work year and update my passport number, etc. I get more points now just as expected. But for some reason now I'm only eligible for CEC and not FSW (says 'Not Met')

Did something change recently? I took a year out of university to work(professional internship, full time), so getting FSW is important. Does CEC strictly count years after graduation?

If you got the points as expected (foreign and canadian work experience), the issue should be the funds amount. You need the amount required to FSW.

I was pretty generous with the funds. It's actually a lot more than what I said in my last application.

If that's the case, I'll update my profile to include some more fund.

Just to be clear, I only finished my application a few hours ago. Hopefully it's not one of those server delay cases.

they dont count internship time in work experience they start counting time after you complete your internship and get full time job

I was a "part-time" student during my internship. It was full time employment which is not part of the core curriculum. I know people who used this in their FSW application, but definitely not CEC. With the way things are right now, I have to try my luck with FSW. Otherwise there no chance of accumulating enough points before my work permit expires. (and I've been working straight out of school!)

As for your main question, did you ensure you still have one year of continuous work experience in the NOC that you selected as your primary occupation? This is important for FSW.

Hmm, maybe this is the problem. I recently changed job/NOC from "Computer Engineer(2147)" to "Software Engineer(2173)". My last job was about 16+16 months while my current job is 8 months. While they all add up to 3 years experience (i get the points), my primary NOC still reads 8 months.

So should I change my primary NOC to my previous jobs?

(btw, to clarify from before: increasing fund did not change anything)

Did you create an account on job bank (assuming you don't have an LMIA)?
I have a similar profile as you and got accepted via FSW. My profile did not activate FSW until I had the job bank registration. NOC codes could also be an issue. I vaguely recollect having a similar issue when I first created my profile several months ago.

Yea I have created the job bank profile.
It is indeed like others said was a problem with my primary NOC being less than 1 year.
