Got AOR under old system, would it be worth to go through EE

Hi Guys,

Need your expert advise, I got AOR under old system in CEC after 4 months of waiting, Old system is quite slow, would it be worth to go through EE. I have LMIA & can get ITA very easily,score is 900+(EE profile not active right now)

As CIC already received your file and provided you an AOR, then I would suggest to stick with old system.

I'm sure, what will happen, if you have multiple applications for PR (One under old system, one under EE).

If I already had an AOR in my hand, i'd call myself an idiot to go with EE.

In reality..My colleague applied for PR under old system last year, he got AOR after 30 days later he got open work permit too & switched the job. After one year still his medical request not came & his open work permit is also expiring... Time frame is too much in old system and you never know how things can turn up here...

looking at the current processing trends of the old system ,its a very long wait game.Its ur call depending in how strong ur processing file is.If u enter the pool and get ITA either u have to go with new or old app.or if u qualify for both fsw and cec in the new process u can go with fsw and leave the old app to be processed in old system and at last u can decide which one to withdraw

If you are thinking of applying through EE and have 2 applications in the system then make sure the ITA is for FSW. If the ITA specified that you are being invited under the CEC program then you will have to make the decision right there about withdrawing your old CEC application or not. On the other hand, you will have to pay double the fees, for processing fees are not refundable but the PR fees are if you have paid it along with your old CEC application already.

Stay with old system. Do not get in EE, that system is pretty messed up

is that old system by the route of PNP is still open? or after provincial nomination, candidate will have to apply under EE,CEC?.

I am on PGWP and planning to apply for provincial nomination, so after having nomination I should go for PR by EE or by old system (send documents to CIC directly)?
