Hi Freinds, I got a job offer and a contract letter from Velt Engineering and Consultancy Services Toronota Canada. I want to confirm if this is genuine.

Note:- I just filled up an interview form and sent them, without telephonic interview, company sent me an official offer letter from email hr@veltengineering.com

The problem, they want me to do visa application through High commission New Delhi by a guy called Nadir Patel as an immigration officer, while I reside in Nairobi Kenya (Africa)

Below is the contract details, Please suggest me before I loose the money in name of visa fees

APPOINTMENT/CONTRACT LETTER

I am pleased to inform you that you have been employed by the management of
Velt Engineering and Consultancy Services, Toronto Canada. Your Contract with
our company is For a Period of Forty Eight Months (Four years).You can be made
a permanent staff after one year of joining our company. This will be based on
Merit and Satisfactory Performance. The position that you have been offered is
that of an Administrative Assistant.
Your Job application ID is (VL/KN137/21/AA/CA).This Document Embodies the
approved legal terms for the Purpose of This Contract with The Mandate to
Provide Excellent Services as Stipulated in This Contract Document.)
The Work Environment Will Be Within The Work Metropolis Of Velt
Engineering and Consultancy Services, Toronto Canada. You Are To Report
Immediately To The Human Resource Director/Recruitment Manager (Mr. Peter
Ferguson) Upon Arrival To Conclude Prospects Of Screening And Other
Logistics.
1. POSITIONS AND DUTIES: The employee shall carry out all lawful and
legitimate duties assigned by the employer

2. WORKING HOURS: Your working hours are from 9am to 5pm. (Monday-
Saturday). You are entitled to one hour of lunch break every day. But there may

be shifting schedule in case of emergency.
3. SALARY: Your starting basic monthly take home salary will be 6,200.00 CAD
Per Month after deducting tax and insurance which maybe received before 26th
of every Month. Salary can be transferred to any Bank or Country of your choice.

You will also receive the sum of 270 CAD weekly as upkeep allowance.
4. FEEDING AND ACCOMMODATION: Accommodation on arrival and

Toronto, Ontario M4Y 2C8 Canada. Also, You Are Expected To Eat At The Staff

Canteen Free Of Charge, As There Are Dietary Options For Vegetarians And Non-
Vegetarians.

5. ANNUAL LEAVE: You will be entitled to thirty (30) days paid leave annually.
The first of such leave becomes due after the completion of Five (5) months
probation. Our Company shall bear the cost of Air fare for vacation trip for
employee as well as his/her family.
6. INTERVIEW: There will not be any other form of interview to this recruitment
process and as such upon your assessment and qualification and also job
experience have been considered. Meanwhile, upon your arrival, we will conduct
a two weeks compulsory training to keep you abreast on the nature of your
assigned designation with the company.
7. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: All government gazette public holidays may be observed
depending on the exigencies of work. The management may decide to operate on
a holiday on overtime paid hours. Employee may not proceed on any holiday(s)
without an approval from the concerned department.

8. MEDICALS: Employer Will Provide The Employee With Comprehensive Health
Care For The Term Of Contract, And Follow-On Care For Injuries Suffered
During The Term Of Contract For Employee And Family.
9. SICK LEAVE: You must notify the company or your immediate supervisor as
soon as possible if you are unable to work for any medical reason. Such notice
shall be given within the first four (4) hours of the working day. In a case of
emergency situation, employee’s next of kin will be immediately notified.
10. INSURANCE: Employee is entitled to health Insurance Scheme under the law

of Canada. You are entitled to fourteen (14) days of paid sick leave annually. This
Offer Letter of Contract shall be governed in accordance with the Canadian

11. EXPENSES BEFORE TRAVEL BY EMPLOYEES:
Expenses Made/Incurred By the Employee Related to Job before Commencement
of Duty or Expenses Made During Travel Plans, Processing Of Travel Particulars
ETC Will Be Substantiated With Proof And Employer Will Reimburse The
Employee Not Later Than Seven (7) Working Days Upon Submission Of
Employee’s Expense Report And Original Copies As Proofs Of Such Expenses.
Employer However Agrees To Reimburse Fully All Travel Costs And Expenses
Made By Employee.
Employer Would Not Pay Total Costs For Travel Expenses, Processing Of Work/
Resident Permit Papers Of Employee Before Work Sign-On. This Is To Possibly
Evade Losses That May Be Accrued To Employer Should Employee Decides To
Decline Job Offer After Certain Expenses Must Have Been Made By Employer.
This Agreement Hereby Binds Employer And Employee In That Re-imbursements
Will Be Made Fully To Employee Upon Presentation Of Expense Reports And
Proof Of Expenses.

12. SAFETY & SECURITY
Safety And Security (Local/Foreign) And Facilities On Job Locations And
Communities Are No Small Issues, And Have Been Seriously Considered To Ensure
And Assure Hitch Free Operations, All Workers Are Entitled To Adequate Security
At Their Residential Quarters All Operations On Job Location Are Designed To
Adhere Strictly To The Health Safety And Environment (HSE) Policy.

Recreational/Sports Facilities Shall Also Be Made Available At your Disposal

Visa on or Before The 15th December, 2020 As A Proof Of Readiness To Join The

13. TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT:
(i) Notice period of six (6) months or an equivalent amount of wages in lieu of
notice shall be given by both parties before the termination of this contract.
14.0 OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WORK EMPLOYMENTS:
(i) You Must Submit Your Original Certificates And Credentials To The Human
Resources /Recruitment Manager For Screening As Soon As You Arrive CANADA.

(ii) You Are Expected To Pay for their Visa Processing Fees To A Reliable Legal
Immigration Consultant at the Canadian High Commission That Will Be
Communicated To you In No Distant Time.
(iii) All Expatriates Contacted And Contracted For This Engagement Will Have
The soft Copy Of Their Job Contract Engagement Papers Document Been
Forwarded To The Reliable and authorized Immigration Consultant Assigned To
Procure Their Travelling Documents, Immigration Particulars, Work Permit, Etc.
(iv) You are Oblige to Make Yourself Available and report to your duty post
within the stipulated time. These Are Strictly Stated In Company’s
MEMORANDUM And ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION and the Company MODUS
OPERANDI. If The Condition stated above is acceptable by you,
(V) You Are Hereby Directed to contact our immigration consultant at the
CANADIAN Embassy in New Delhi via email which shall be communicated to

Hi thank you for your reply. Here I contacted Nadir Patel who asked me to pay CAD 1250 for visa processing

Maybe not but once they have hooked somebody it will not be long before cash is discussed, remember their targets are people desperate to move to Canada who ideally for the sammer will lose all common sense that they might normally have.

Hopefully COVID and all the restrictions are giving scammers a hard time financially

If it looks too good to be true then it will be and that generally applies to most, not all, job offers to anyone outside of Canada

Just yesterday I received the same offer and was also asked to contact one Mr Nadir Patel for my visa and work permit at a fee. Please cant you use your outfit to alert velt engineering and consultancy so we could fish them out since we the victims has their contacts and emails addresses. Thank you.

The offer is genuine. I received offer from Velt Engineering in September ,i got my Visa last week.-Amos Quaye from Ghana
Sure it is. Why does their website refer to Melbourne and Brisbane if they are in Canada? The poorly placed address in Calgary in the middle of their website is a dead giveaway it’s fake, and you are probably part of the scam. Under contact information, the address is an intersection in Toronto and the phone number is a Newfoundland area code. It’s one big scam.

Plus didnt know that the Marcellus field was near Brisbane Australia as opposed to New York state

The vague contact address used there is a dentist on one corner and a coffee shop on the other plus apartments on the others so maybe this multinational is operating from the coffee shop.

25 wells in the Eagle Ford shale, that accounts for 70% of the companies capital outlay, certainly wouldn’t support or need 34,000 employees!

It's not genuine. If you got a visa, then the visa is fake. There is zero chance this job offer is real.

I received Same offer Letter . The job is a legitimate one . I have already received my Ticket through the office if Mr. Peter Ferguson . I thought it was a scam initially. I hope this help someone . Deborah Wanjiku from Kenya .
It's fake. There is no job.

The person you have been dealing with in Kenya is a scammer.

Either you have been scammed and have lost a lot of money. Or you are a scammer too.
