got a call from private number, possible from cic offce?

I had AOR on December 31, 2016; so it has been five weeks. I recently got two call from private number on two separate days and I am wondering if they are from cic or ?
Anyone has the same experience ?

Yep, my mom and my friends call me all the time. All private numbers.

Could be calls from anyone... have you tried to pick up the calls yourself? I've heard of IRCC VO calling the employers to verify the information on applicant's employment history etc.
