The amendments contained in section 87.4 of the IRPA terminating FSW applications are subject to litigation. The result of that litigation could affect how the terminated FSW applications are handled in the future. Further information will be provided as the litigation progresses.
So,Lets hope from the federal court .

i agree...i hope the court will consider the earlier fed court decision relative to the 900 litigants...i wish their case becomes a precedent of a favourable outcome for all backloggers....fingers crossed.........

I was planning on applying in July 2012 I missed the cut off last year October while I was visiting in Canada. My application has been complete since November 2011 and just waiting for the goahead.

Hi,,,same question from my side.
I am FSW 2007 june applicant,file transferred from islamabad to chc london in january 2011.my e-case status also appeares as IN-PROCESS and while clicking on it processing date shows as we have started processing ur application in june 19,2007.I used to send all of my updated documents myself i.e newly achieved degrees,renewal job contract copy etc etc BUT they did't asked me to send updated documents yet.In last April 2011 they told me that my file is waiting for review,now a complete story is written for experts to give me their expert opinion.

but the question remains there, how we'll come to know whether we're eligible prior to Mar 29, 2012.

If your case , SELECTION DECISION is made, then you are safe.

If Selection Decision is not made, then you are not safe.

It would be interesting to see quarterly administrative data update for this term. How much inventory they are able to clear up by March 31, 2012. Also whether they still be showing backlog applications as part of their inventory or not.

i did not received medical request yet.how can i see that the Selection Decisiom made?as per e-status it shows as In-Process.last time my e-case page was modified on 12-06-2012.

i have some relatives in toronto,they are in canada from 5 years.i have applied for caips 3 weeks before,i sent the requisition alongwith their utility bill and payment slip to london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca.their PR card was not available as it was applied by them for renewal,But i did only get confirmation against my e-mail yet..Meanwhile last week i found that the CAIPS Requision should send to ATIP-AIPRP then i forwarded the same e-mail to ATIP-AIPRP too & got confirmation by them also.
Kindly advise me that have i done correct things for CAIPS?and without PR card's copy will they release my notes to me or to my uncle?

Your relative can get the CAIPS by paying $5. You don't need to provide any utility bill or PR Card copy of relative to anyone.

There is separate thread for how to order for CAIPS. Only sending the mail will not work out.

I have never applied for CAIPS , but the steps are given in respective thread.
