Hi all,

just a quick question.

can we get a normal LMIA and apply for WP under GTS stream ? Or should we apply only if we have GTS LMIA?

Any idea?

you should check once you are filling the questionnaire. There are certains options for the work permit. I remember only LMIA normal and LMIA exemption. check it once

I received my passport request last week. Below is my timeliness. Application was filed under GSS
Applicatiin submission: June 4th
Biometrics submission: July 28th
Correspondence and passport request : Oct 8th

I am sure yours has been approved. Mine has been approved since August 5th but doesn't appear on my profile. I got GCMS notes and saw that it was approved the same day I received correspondence. What I have noticed is that if you receive correspondence your application has been approved or rejected. You receive communication if it is rejected right away.

Thanks for reply, I Wonder how come there is a lag between GCMS notes and updating the portal?

as if its approved per GCMS, technically should reflect in your portal or at least under final decision should display as approved.

fingers crossed lets hope for the best.
