What kind of help IOM Canada does provide?Hi - contact the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) about your status as a Convention refugee and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) about getting help to go home. Google them for their contact information.
As it stands currently the Government of Canada cannot help a Convention refugee return home.
i dont think IOM should be involved. process is straight forward, request to receive your passport by indicating reasons as to why you want your passport back, make constant calls and once received, leave Canada. Alternatively, Local embassy or consulate may issue emergency travel documentWhat kind of help IOM Canada does provide?

Is IOM providing flight tickets? The IOM can assist with repatriation. It's free advice but Simba says it's straight forward. See what works for you. In my experience, this is what I have seen other people who sought to return after a positive claim to Convention refugee status.
Good luck, and maybe find a friend to discuss your decision with before you act as it's a serious matter.
