GIC in scotia bank

Hello I wanted to know if I can transfer money from a joint account to scotia bank but in the joint account my parent is gonna be the primary card holder and I will be secondary,but my name will also appear during transaction,
So will this amount be accepted or will they refund it back

hi, can i open GIC and make payment from a canadian rbc bank to scotia bank. and also please let me know finally how i will get gic certificate . would it be in pdf format or different one.
