GIC application - intl student from philippines

Did mine sa Metrobank pero with CIBC. In CIBC, there is an option to choose USD or CAD. I chose USD so from my Php account to USD to CIBC.

I just showed them the letter, filled out a form and done. Got confirmation from CIBC in less than 48 hrs.

dear all,

i just done my GIC application today but I did not put my middle name because in the space provided it only asked first name and last name.
while in my passport there is middle name. is this a problem?

appreciate if someone can revert. i start getting worried after reading some comments here about mismatched information from GIC application against passport information.

hi @barbs_20 i have the same issue. i don't know that I need to put middle name as there no space provided in the GIC application for the middle name. which email address you sent your name amendment to? thanks in advance for the reply.

Not all branch are aware. I know PNB Shangrila and BDO Gil Puyat knows the procedure.
if in UAE, go to PNB Karama branch, they can assist you open an account and all.

for me masyado mahaba name ko kaya hinde na din talaga buo first name, Ok naman , pumasok siya, CIBC yung bank ko and thru BPI nag pasa.

Sa Metrobank ako nag transfer pero nung mag deposit ako ng GIC sa Scotiabank Pinakita ko sa Metro yung acceptance letter ko at yung printout ko ng SDS requirement for a GIC deposit. Tinanggap naman po ng Metro. If ang hinihingi ng PNB ay student id number, usually po kasama yung info na yun sa LOA.
