Generic Application Form For Canada, Question 10

Hello,

Just filling out the outland application for my american wife to immigrate to Canada and I don't know what to answer for question 10 on form 0008 which is "Current country of residence?" and then it ask for the date "from and to"

She is in Canada with me with a status of visitor.

Since she is here as a "visitor" then she is not a "resident". So for her the answer would be the U.S. and the "from" date may even be her date of birth.
