GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

This is what i see on my GCMS notes as of mid April. Im assuming that Activity 1 & Activity 2 relate to database searches/information sharing with other agencies.

I have seen some other GCMS notes with about 5-8 of these activities, so im speculating that im roughly about half way complete. So perhaps my application will get completed within the 6 month period.

I re-ordered GCMS notes today as interested to see if there has been any progress in the last 2.5 months

Your activity 3 date suggests that your SS has only started in May. So unfortunately this could mean you have many more months of waiting left

I saw from your other posts that your GCMS mentioned "Due date: 2017/06/18"

Might be worth ordering another set of notes shortly after this date.

My due date was 5th of June which has lapsed and I haven't had any updates so the next due date will be 5th of July. I hope there is some good news before that itself. In the meanwhile, I have ordered a fresh set of GCMS notes since I didn't receive any update or change on the 5th of June...

my is similar, except my activity 3 updated date is 2017/05.

I am from China, and have no travel history to any of red flag countries. I have no idea why I could be chosen to run the security check.

Yes it means that our files have gone for extensive background checks to multiple agencies including CSIS.
