GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

Hi, all... sadly I am in the same boat with you I have the same in GCMS notes like everyone above - activity 1 and activity 2 security screening with no date, and activity 3 on the 26 april security screening not started.
My guess why I my file is sent is that I have a very extensive travel history and I live in the Middle East.

that really sucks. I am from China and have no travel history to any of the sensitive countries.

I have no travel history although I live in Pakistan. Whatever the case may be, I think I will be stuck in this s**t for a very long while. I have come across only one guy with security screening who got ppr in 7 months. The rest
Remained stuck or still are waiting for a year.

My BGC has been going since November 23rd 2011, plus two documents requested in January. The date when security screening has begun was redacted from the GCMS notes, but I'll update you if I get any news.

Could you share a more detailed timeline of that girl with security screening who got ppr please?

My process is taking longer. She's lucky as from what I seen people with SS a few had their done in less than 7 months and the rest near a year, with a few almost 2 years :S

Anyone with security screening starting in January 2017 or February? Maybe we could share our timeline to gauge our date of PPR.

I believe the timeline depends on country of origin and how complex your case is.

I have also been stuck on SS since late March.Would also be interested in any cases from Jan/Feb, but haven't come across any on this forum.
