Signature should be the same, IRCC will verify it. If they can't verify they may ask for a copy of the passport as well. Having said that, electronic signatures (esign) are accepted by IRCC as well during the pandemic but they have to be supported by a verifiable audit log. Issues with signatures on the consent form is the #1 reason for consent forms being rejected and causing delays with the process. This is an example of a message that IRCC may send when they encounter an issue with the consent form
