Thanks and regards,

I don't want to give false information but I do know that the due date is the say that the immigration officer has to look at your file again. As you see your file is in registration so they are awaiting something, maybe security screening or maybe a final look at your case by a senior officer. Like Eagle would say. Be patient, you are almost done.

Hello, just a quick question
I submitted the 2015 consent form and the one for 2016 is a bit different. Will they still accept it?

Thanks!

I don't think so.

Hmm but if you think about it, it's just our signatures and they got all other information and today's date, I really hope they will)
I got a tracking number so if they do send it out and I track it then it means they accepted?

Not usually. They've been asking a lot of people to correct their forms and send it back. Your tracking number stays the same even if you do have to re-do the form. But again, you never know with the Ottawa Centre. It's all about luck

Oh that's how it works...well hopefully they'll accept it or ask me to re-do the form very soon)
Thank you!

Hi,

I'm sure this has been asked thousands of times already, but through the search function I was only able to find answers to more complicated applications or to the old form.

So here it goes:

We recently applied for GCMS notes, but got an e-mail telling us we need to fill out IMM 5744. We have absolutely no idea, who fills out what. We want the information to go to my spouse (sponsor & Canadian).

Spousal sponsorship, no dependents, no representative.

Section A - ?
Section B - ?
Section C / 3 - ?
Section C / 4 - ?

We are so confused, please help!

Thank you!

well we finally got the ppr email this past friday. what a long road...we were originally refused, had to file an appeal and now finally 14 month after the appeal got the ppr email. the ecas showed no change and the information line person told me just 4 days ago that the security checks and background checks are still being done.

This is my interpretation of the form. The form is meant for "you", the PA, to release information to the Sponsor. Therefore, I did the following:

A - PA
B - Sponsor (probably not necessary but I completed just in case)
C3 - Sponsor
C4 - PA signs and agrees to release the information to the Sponsor.

Others have different views.

A: PA there is a section to sign for PA

B : empty
C3 : Sponsor
C4 : Sponsor signs

If you have the latest version of PDF you can sign the form online along with the sponsor no need to print or scan....

Anybody who recently got their gcms note with dependent on their file? Please check what it says on on status of other req. and non-compliance ? Please need an advise

I tried the online PDF signing and this is what I got from ATIP:

" The consent provided appears to have been tampered with. To be valid, a consent must be signed, recently dated, contain the printed name of the person giving consent and identifies you as the designated individual. In the event that the consent provided contains electronic signatures, please provide the audit log from the consent form in order to confirm the signatures provided."

So it seems an audit log is needed. Maybe someone else can confirm this that have done online signatures.
