GCMS NOTES WELL EXPLAINED HAS NEVER BEFORE UNTIL NOW

momo2016 - do i understand correctly that the first stage of you being approved as a sponsor is complete? You have been approved as a sponsor and your file has been transferred to the Nairobie visa office?

when was the last date that your file was touched?

the notes i posted above was added/updated to my GCMS notes in March 2016 - nobody has reviewed my case yet it seems since then

I was really hoping to know whether ive been approved on not by Dec. At least then I can reapply in Jan 2017. Otherwise, I'll lose another year in waiting if ever im not approved.

Criminality : Pass
Medical : Pass
Security: Blank

Due Date: 30/10/2016

Nothing has been changed since then. Any body have any idea when and what may be next? My medical will expire on 06/02/2017. Should I order another GCMS notes sometimes in the mid of December?

Do you see a number on the upper right hand corner? It could give us insight if your security is passed or not.

s.16(1)(c) means the information commissioner removed something from there (Access To Information Act; Section 16, subsection 1, article c).

From what I remember, that means your security check is done. It also means pass from what I recall...

No, I could not see any number on the upper right corner of the page containing the information on eligibility, Medical, security and criminality. Where should I actually for the number? After security information, at the last of the that page written as:

Application assigned to: Blank
Assigned by: Blank
Due to Date: Blank

Can anybody help me to look for the number in my GCMS note? Thanks for your cooperation, in advance.

I got notes and they have mention original documents sent to sponsor address in canada and also medical and eligibility passed but background and security not started.
How long does it takes to do background and security ? I was requested on 24 oct to provide update police certificates and schedule A background declaration form which i have uploded already...
Plz advise...

It should be on all pages on the upper right hand side. For me I saw it on the first page! If you don't see it it's probably started but not compete which is why you don't see a number.

It should take between 1-3 months but you never know with CIC, it differs in every case

When I google it in regards to ATIP notes it states it's in the test/recommendation, so I'm guessing your security is in process

Hi All,

My wife is Feb 2016 applicant under family class category. File is processed at NDVO.

Below is some detail about our case:
1. Its 2nd marriage for both of us
2. Wife is in Canada on TRV since Dec 2015 and VR extension approved until Aug 2017
3. Oct 17th we received request for additional document [i.e. more marriage ceremony photographs]
4. Asked details + more relevant detail of living together since Dec 2015 are also shared and documents received by NDVO on 24th Oct

Various statuses/ info I found in GCMS is as below:
Eligibility - In progress
Medical - passed
Paper file location - FCU-DIS [This is on 17th Oct]
Counterfoil required - No
Eligibility status - Review required
paperfile location - FCU-CA Room (This was on 5th Oct]

Need to know what does FCU-DIS and FCU-CA Room signify?
