Yeah, this is what concerns me. The two week delay in notes if I sign section C and it turns out we should not.

I order and reorder the day they arrive lol.

lol exactly. I called CIC this morning only to hold and give up after 50 minutes .... i'll try again early tomorrow am and let you know if I get any concrete answers ..... find it hard to believe we are the only ones unsure of the new signature line.

I am sure there will be others who will notice the new form when they go to order notes lol.

Eagle - the new consent forms come with a signature line for a representative in section C. Can you please let me know who needs to sign here - we don't have a representative - the consent form is filled out by my wife giving consent to me her husband and sponsor.

thank you for your help

The undertaking is the document you signed- IMM1344 to provide support to your sponsored person for 3 years (36 months)

Biographic refers to the information sharing program between US/Canada.

As it clearly says"Signature of representative", If you have no representative then none will sign on the line, leave it blank.

Has anyone tried to track their GCMS request via this link:https://gcmsnotes.ca/order/tracking/track.php
I tried and couldn't get anywhere....?

that's not the government website , unless your ordered from that website you can't track your notes there or anywhere .

I believe that's security checks being hidden from your files..

Please read further on this link: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t109332.0.html

I just lurked around. I am currently studying and getting a deeper understanding of GCMS notes.
It somehow fascinates me. :D

Hi Engineered_by_God, i noticed that you're from MVO, too; and also read that you ordered notes. May i ask how much did you pay for GCMS notes? is it 5cad or 42cad? it confused me because for some they only paid 5cad others 42. Also, when my husband paid for the 5cad ATIP, he didn't ask me to sign any documents/forms. I read that other were asked by their partners to sign something. TIA!

If you file with CIC to get your notes it will cost you $5 if you apply thru a website other then the official government site they will charge you more unecessarily. As for the signature I'm quite sure you'll need to sign the consent form as well or else your spouse will not be able to obtain notes with your information. Unless your both in Canada and applying from the rules could be different. Regardless, if your required to have a signature you'll get an email from CIC requesting the consent form signed with details.

All the best and good luck
