HI Eagle, Pls tell me your thoughts about what is the difference between Interview Required and Recommended? I Got GCMS notes a bit ago in October 2015 and in those notes I found that Visa officer with Code name JM said interview Required with few concerns.. I thought to Address those concerns and I sent CIC e-mail in dec 2015, in e-mail i sent couple of letters ,pics which i thought can address officers concerns after this I again order notes, which i got on 28 Jan 2016 . I found My Criminality is PASS , Security is NOT STARTED (with s.15(1)) on right corner, Medical PASS and Eligibilty IN PROCESS . what do you think Bro ?

Hi Tony, Eagle left the forum a while ago. From what I can see in your notes and what Eagle as said in the past I think all you can do is wait. I think it's good that you sent them additional documents addressing there concern. Maybe wait a bit longer.

I'm sure other members also have better insight on this :) goodluck

Interesting stuff. Don't see officers notes in your GCMS notes? Look again. Ours were in French and I almost missed them since I assumed the French text was a translation for English. Apparently the officers can choose French and not provide English equivalent. We almost went to interview not knowing concerns.

Good morning fellow forumers,
please can anyone help me out of worries....
we submitted our sponsorship application on
23rd November 2015 and got AOR on
20/01/2016 till date no update and it makes
me so worry since then though am the
principal applicant i had called many times nd
also my spouse the sponsor as well . They can
only say we should hold on or wait till they
complete there background check nd
elegibility of my wife... this making me so
worry now
though my wife nd myself are divorcee nd all
well documented but she had sponsored her ex
back then 1995 nd before the application
finalised she called cic thats she withdrew her
sponsorship but it seem too late bcos she
realised her ex was going to use her for
status. please fellow forumers what do you
think this might result to?

nothing to worry about yet - processing times for Sponsor Approval are at 62 days from AOR, and you're at less than 20 days. if you go beyond 62 days, maybe then you can start to worry ;)

as for your wife's history of applying and then withdrawing an application for her ex - as long as you explained the circumstances in your application and the circumstances were above-board, there shouldn't be a problem. i sponsored my ex almost a decade ago - started as an inland application, withdrew it, re-applied outland, he landed, and we subsequently separated. i've just received our final papers for sponsoring my current husband with no problems at all - in our notes, it's barely even mentioned that i had previously sponsored my ex.

if you've explained why she withdrew her application for her ex, and if you've provided solid evidence of your relationship, you should be fine. :)

I received new set of notes for my wife. My notes says interview waived by two officers on oct 12 and Nov 30. Got remedical on Dec7.
I had already send medical which I communicated through MP office.
Many pages have been hidden for security marked with s.15(1)
Latest Paper history updated on Dec 1th 2015 shows that Location Registry.
MP Enquiry a week back(Feb8th 2016) got response "at this time your file is being finalized".
My wife vistor visa got rejected in Jan 2016. Not sure what else I can do.

does the due date on the gcms notes have any meaning or completely pointless to us?

Due date on Eligibility before it says passed could be pointless, but Due date on BF'D (bring forward date) will
certainly be the day your entire file will be looked at.

Hi Eagle ,good to see you back .. I've ordered my GCMS , today I received it , it says my eligibility passed , medical passed , criminality not started , but there is something else which is

Paper file
Office . London
My file number
Location .PA put away

Can you explain me please whats that means

Hi Eagle,

Thought I would give you an update....after sending my latest ATIP request for GCMS notes in mid December, I received a note from ATIP early Jan saying it would take 30 additional days to process...and then a few days later, we received PPR! My husband now has the visa in his passport and COPR.

Ironically we still didn't receive the notes...not sure how to follow up as we would still like to see how things progressed.

I'm still hoping we can get this spreadsheeet updated with the latest info https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qp2u3X_F10-peLhSZnPwBNAZivuICTZIA2eyB-tOerE/edit#gid=0 It will be a work in progress for sure.

I hope you are well! You are amazing in helping so many people.

Hi dear chilkootcee,

Everyday is a productive day for me I believe it is for everyone too. if I can only do one thing to help a friend, to me I have achieved a big thing that day. I am glad that I did assist you when you could not hold the pressure any longer. I wish your Husband safe trip to Canada. The country is huge and need his abilities to keep it running.

sincerely

Can someone help me ...What is the meaning of " Application status Reason:TFR- Eligibility"

It means that Application was transfer from Canada to Visa office. Before any Application is transferred, SA need to be met, in other word Sponsorship Eligibility is completed and passed then paper file can then be transferred for final processing.

Hello Everyone!

I just had one concern/ question and was wondering if anyone knows. I just ordered my GCMS notes and I attached the consent form and an additional letter stating that he gives consent for me to receive the access to information act on behalf of him. However I forgot to attach proof that I am a citizen of Canada (example, Passport pic). Should I apply again? or should I wait for them to email me?

Thanks in advance.

Great. Thanks Eagle333 for ur quick response.
