Putting this question out to anyone/everyone who received their GCMS notes with the officer's comments visible (i.e., not redacted):
When you originally requested the notes through ATIP, did you specify that they include the officer's comments?

I've been told that if you don't make that specific request, they will redact officer's comments... and that's basically the part we're most interested in at this point. I didn't know that before I requested though, and I sent in an additional e-mail to make this request (citing the temporary tracking number they gave me), but I get the feeling with how backlogged they are, it will probably be missed...

Received mine with the notes and comments, did not make special request.

Hi, i'm sponsoring my family and submitted the Outland application in Nov 2019. I received my GCMS notes today. Although I have been following this thread, have some questions if anybody could answer please.

ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Not Started
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:

As per my GCMS notes, the Eligibility, Security and Medical were marked "Not started" in Dec 2019. I submitted by approved CSQ in July 2020.

Does anybody know at what point the Eligibility and other checks are started ?
How long does this take ? (Ideally in Non-Covid conditions)
How far away am I from the finish line.

Dear All,

what is ‘Selection - EE Econ’ under Activities in GCMS notes? Previously it was ‘EE MI - Met’. Latest activity after two security related activities now shows ‘Selection EE Econ - passed’

Thanks

What does the Assessments section on page#2 look like?

Eligibility - Passed
Security - Blank
Criminality - Passed
Info Sharing - Completed

eligibility has been changed from ‘met’ to ‘passed’ and security from ‘not started’ to ‘blank’ from my previous notes. However, my only concern is, I can’t see Officer remarks in the latest notes in last few pages. Latest one still shows Case Processing Agent’s remarks.

Thanks for sharing. Your Eligibility is conclusively Passed, so that good as it's the most important stage. After Eligibility the next stage is Security Screening and with this stage the status will be either "Not Started" or blank (redacted). So your application is either undergoing Security Screening or it has completed, most security checks are done within 1 month. If you can't see some information it's likely been redacted and you may see a code like s15 in the top right corner of the file; this will also be mentioned in the email you received from IRCC when you got the GCMS file.

Thank you very much for your reply.

yes I can see s15 on top right hand corner of all the pages where security is mentioned.

Information that's will be redacted will be done so and making such a request will not change the outcome. What you may be referring to is a condensed version of the GCMS notes that will focus on the officers notes (still redacted) but will exclude the other info such incoming/outgoing sections, etc. That way you don't end up with a GCMS file with hundreds of pages.

Yes calls are logged into GCMS as well and reflected in the incoming section. You are correct about PPT, what does the Assessment section on page 2 looks like?
