If it’s undergoing security screening, how much more time it’s expected to take?

i can't tell, security screening can take up to a year. I'm going through another thread on this forum trying to understand how to verify that an application is under SS, no luck yet.

ok, so what I found out is that you can learn if you are in security screening from the GCMS notes, there would be a clear indication of security screening in the subactivities.

I suggest you order GCMS and see what's going on.

how can I find if I am in SS?
I cant find security screening anywhere on my gcms notes.
Under security section, it says my name and UCI number and TYPE ''Security '' then rest of the page if fully blank except for S.15 (1)

Also under activity, under security, looks like they tried to hide the new value for field name status.

Could it mean im in SS?

I did called up IRCC yesterday they said the BGC for my spouse is completed and currently BGC is ongoing since 25 May. Eligibility and Criminality was passed around 23 or 24 May.

I am not quite sure if this is completed as well?

thanks so far i have 3 different things from experts on this forum.

1. you are saying security passed, PPR soon
2. Im in SS because i passed eligibility in April and its been 3 months Im stuck in BG so I am in SS
3. I had listed about 9 employers hence security guys are verifying my employment and it will take time.


Confused forever.

The third point should be a part of your eligibility... if that has passed you mentioned, this will not come into play
