Hello everyone, I have complicated problem about my educational history and very much appreciate seniors help.
In 2017, my study permit expired because I had not renewed my passport. It was actually delayed in getting back to me by a few days so I lost status while waiting for my passport. I stopped studying immediately of course. But then once my passport arrived, I applied to restore my status immediately and got a new study permit within a month.
Timeline:
Original plan of studies : October 2015-August 2017
1st study permit expired : January 1 2017
Applied for the new study permit : January 10th 2017
Confirmed that a new study permit was issued : February 13th 2017
Finished studies and received degree: October 2017 (had student status until I finished my program)
My problem is, does anyone know how to indicate this one month gap in the express entry profile.
1) Should I show the gap in express entry profile where I stopped doing any schooling when I awaited for the study permit?
2) Or should I just include the gap in the personal history section with an LOE and just leave the education duration as 2015 October - 2017 October?
3) I have successfully completed my degree but this gap is not indicated in my transcript because I was doing research work at that time and I had no course work to drop out of. How would I claim that I stopped from participating in any educational activities?
