G2 or Full G in Toronto

Hi guys I live in Toronto and i have my G1 licence yesterday i translated my license which is from back home and i am thinking to apply for G2 but i have driving experience so i could also apply for full G

I want to ask u guys what is the easiest test G2 or full G

I also heard that when i jump from G1 to full G the insurance will be expensive when i buy a car
is that true?
