Funds: Average or Closing balance?

Hi There!

For the 'Proof of Means of Financial Support', I was just wondering do I need the average or closing balance of both my savings and checkings? In the actual page where we need to upload documents, it actually is just asking for the closing balance. But should I just go ahead and just put the closing balance? Or both closing and average is needed?

You need a letter from you bank in a specific format. Optionally, you can also attach statements to show balance history.
