I have a simple question: According to you guys, what is more important for CIC? The number of absences or the total number of days where the applicant was absent?

Is there any difference bettween an applicant who has for instance 2 absences for a total of 300 days over the 4 year period and an applicant with 30 absences for the same total of 300 days?

Thanks.

I can't apply until later this year, but so far I have 0. I have taken two day trips across the border - but as single days, not over-night stays, they don't count. I anticipate when I fill in the form in October that I will still be at 0.
Maybe I will get an RQ as CIC will think I'm lying and covering up absences :)

21 absences, 237 days. One absence (between when I landed and when I actually moved) is responsible for nearly half of that time.

Every trip was to the U.S. I literally have not been in any country besides Canada and the U.S. since I became a permanent resident of Canada. And hopefully they won't think I'm trying to use Canada as a way to get into the U.S. since I'm already a U.S. citizen! ::)
