Hi,
I received my new file number last friday from Buffalo visa office, can you guys help me conveying what option I should select in tracking status. when I chose Immigration file number and type in new file number, I get the following msg. Am I doing something wrong?

"We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

congrats first of all.

To me it seems both numbers are linked (ecas will show same info with both of them), are you able to check your status with old one?

My old file numbers says "Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete".

Check your application today-tomorrow, these are the days when most updates on ecas happens. It might have some news.

I received our second AOR last Sept 23 and checked our status online for a week with our new file number. Just like you, ours still did not went through. So I checked with our previous number and it says the same CIO Eligibility Review Complete. Now, I checked our status online with the new number and it says Received by Visa Office. Maybe you need to wait a little. Eventually, it will change.

Did you checked application with old number now? Are they both showing the same information?

I think they should.

yes, I am able to view the status on my new and old file numbers. Both of them said application received by VO.

I'll join the thread. Just submitted my full docs last sept. 21'10 and got my AOR Sept. 28. Waiting for another 3 months for the next advise which is the medical request. As far as I see from the thread in Manila applicants almost all have the same processing period. Thank you guys for this new thread for updates of those with the same time line.
