I know you already doing alot for this thread. But appreciate if you can update the "In Progress" column as couple people have got in that status.
I saw mine in "In Progress" on 25th January, Tuesday.

I think others also can provide In Progress date and we can have it up to date.

I would like to know what are the steps shown on ECAS? My visa office is Buffalo and I haven't received my second AOR till now. On my ECAS it says Received by visa office. When I looked on the diagram where there is explained each step on the application process, it says that the next step it will be
VISA OFFICE ELIGIBILITY REVIEW COMPLETE
Visa Office - Eligibility Review Complete
The review of the application and supporting documents has been completed at the visa office. A letter with additional information has been mailed.

As far as I read...this will be shown next on ECAS prior to the second AOR; or it will go directly into process because I don't understand.

No, it doesn't. E-cas automated system so you can check it unlimited times a day, but status usually gets updated on Tuesdays so there usually will be no updates during week.

One more thing..when I click on the In Process- it does not say medical received or other things, it remained the same:

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 18, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on May 27, 2010. The Buffalo office may contact you.

No i didn't got 2nd AOR from Buffalo.

But my ecas shows In Process today....
