FULL DOCS TO NEW DELHI CHC IN AUGUST 2010 >>>>>>>>

I have send full documents to CHO Newdelhi by 1st week of August 2010 and got the file no. The status in website shows " Rcvd by Visa Office" . When can expect further response.

Hi...The below would explain why ND is SO SLOW :

January Intake is coming in Canada so students rush after start of November. I think CHC will again process PR application very slow like July/August (For September Intake) so i think this will give two more month long time waiting for us.
people who have got their medicals or DM should consider themselves lucky because January and September Student intakes r major Admission programs.

in September intake CHC had got above 60000 Student Visa application. due to this in July/August CHC processing of PR cases went down.

Same thing will happen in January(as this processing will take most of the time in Nov & Dec).

two more month's waiting for us.

after January middle,I think CHC should come to main track.

Now the file transfer cases of Feb/ March begining are in process June file transfer cases are seems to be change to "in Process" in Feb 2011. You case may be bit early as your Noc code moving bit fast as compare to other NOC cods.

Thanks for the information and the hopes. I was initially expecting to receive the call by this month end. Keeping fingers crossed, that I get something by next month atleast...Certain processes have to be put in motion thru my current organization who are planning to send me to the US. However, I want to complete my Canadian Visa stamping process before I land in the US, and hence am on the edge as to when my number will come thru.

I've sent my full docs to chc delhi on 26th jul 10. I have not received any response from them yet. Still waiting for the 2nd AOR.

Will it be a good idea to send a reminder email to chc as it's been more than 3 months now?

Please help with a good suggestion!!

You may send an e-case query to the New Delhi office. However, looking at the progress of the applications before us, currently, the applicants whose file transfer was Feb end/March are receiving 'in-process' status. On an average, it is now taking ND Visa Office to review the full documents in 6 months atleast.

You can apply under fast track without withdrawing your old file. You can have two parallel applications for PR at the same time. But you should mention your old file details in your new file application.

Hi guys...Sorry for this but let me pass on the news...

In another thread , an applicant (who had submitted her doxs June 4,2010) mehak recd a response to her case specific enquiry relating to the delay.

CHC,ND responded by saying that it would be useless to enquire about a status update before 8 months had passed from date of submission of entire set of doxs.

So you can calculate the timelines... :-X :-X :-\ :-\

If it really takes the time as mentioned, then for me Aug 09,2010 submission of dox, it would mean
status update in Mar 2011...this to be followed by Medicals...then Visa issue...meaning by next Diwali my
application would be processed....

Would require high energy levels to last out this delay!!!

Hello I m new here ..but just was curious on knowing is it still possible to apply to the cic and get the PR visa for a federal skilled worker category which is nursing ...i m anxious what happens if I apply now and the skilled workers category is closed down for nay intake for the year ...plzz help I m planning on sending all my documents by the end of this week ...thanking u in anticipation.

Dear Friend
No matter if you apply before the occupation is in the skilled workers list (FSW). Your status will have no effect if there is any change in your nominated occupation after submitting your application.
