Guys

There are minor changes in the required POF

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Would the POF change also apply to all those candidates whose papers have already reached Delhi CHC in Aug-Sep 2010?

Regards

When the Visa Office asks for updated POF, then we need to show the updated amount

hi
this delay is getting on my nerves.

i m thnking of applying for caips in 3rd wk jan 2011 with the presumption that my case may be picked up for processing thereabouts or mebbe another week or two thereafter.by the time app.for caips comes up,file should be having some comments from the VO.

taking a chance.my friend in canada will forward my caips app.

hope this gives results

hello friends i have reached Winnipeg on 25 dec

Anyone else seeing any movement? I am not seeing any updates on this thread... ???

We are unlikely to see any updates to this thread until March! The New Delhi office is now taking between 7-10 months to request medical.
Keeping fingers crossed!

Regards,
STS

Would it be 7-10 months after CHC ND receives all documents? If that is the case, then since my 2nd AOR is 30 Aug 2010, I should not expect anything till after March 2011?

That is going to be a long wait....fingers are going to be crooked by then... :o

I agrees with STS2Canada.My friend having file transfer on March 3,2010 received medicals yesterday from CIC ND.After 10 months.I suspect that this time for processing may increase as CIC is also looking to finish backlog.Yrs comments pls.

Hi..

This delay in processing always evokes emotions...and it should because we are not being provided any information as to the possible time it will take.

If we calculate 10months from file tfr...so far so good.

But if calculated from dt of submission of dox...then God help!!!
Because after it comes to IN PROCESS..the medicals will take time after receipt of MR..then time for Visa/PP stamping......And now talk going on
about clearing pre-2008 backlog....Then student intake making a comeback in July - Aug..
Wow!!! If this be the true scenario...friends ...Indians ...countrymen...look for timelines till Diwali this year. Ofcourse..it would really be a Cracker of a cracker

I would have no comments on this delay...
Jab jaana hai tab hi jaayengey....yehi tassali dega!!!

Whosoever has connections ..Now is the time to use to get the ground realities of whats happening....

By the way, I mailed my representative to send a Case specific enquiry to CHC,ND as to the going ons.
Advice: If my rep.does not do so, can I go ahead and send the enquiry?

Hi Sokhi

As you have appointed representative, you cannot send enquiry directly.

Keep us updated on the reply of enquiry.

On the canada visa URL, it states processing times for CHC ND as 10 months - "Based on Complete Application Package". By this I understand that the time starts from documents submitted to CHC ND. Processing time stated is maximum time taken and hence should be less than 10 months from date of transfer. Let me know if my understanding is correct.
