On the canada visa URL, it states processing times for CHC ND as 10 months - "Based on Complete Application Package". By this I understand that the time starts from documents submitted to CHC ND. Processing time stated is maximum time taken and hence should be less than 10 months from date of transfer. Let me know if my understanding is correct.

yes i believe you are correct in your assertion

Hi guys..

I had sent the below mentioned mail to my representative:
Could you please send a request to CHC for updation on status and how much longer it will take for file to come up for processing. This is the 11th month since the date of application.
The mail of CHC dated August 2010 categorically asks to mail them after 3 months of submission of documents in case of any Enquiry relating to Status Update.

An update from my representative received in toto as below:
Please be informed that your chc file number (2nd AOR) came in the month of Aug 2010 (when full set of documents were submitted) and after that the processing time is 6 to 8 months. At present we are receiving the medicals of the cases who got the chc file number in june 2010 ,so you need to wait. As soon as we receive any information from chc we will intimate you.

Hope this helps clear a lot confusion prevailing as regards Mera Number Kab Aayega.

hi buddy, currently CHC ND is processing applications transfered from canada to VO ND in March's 2nd week(2010)....so wait for month....to hear some good news....

Buddy..

Noted your views.

However, please note that if you read through the lines, my representative means that they are receiving Medicals for those applicants who got their 2nd AOR in June 2010.This means applications made in Feb end / March are being processed.
Hope this helps.

got it man..... what i want to assert is that ..CHC ND follows sequential order of case transfer date......and most of the cases of may and june were transfered to VO in FEB & march.....
by saying that i believe that after the issuance of 1st AOR requiring submission of fulldocs to VO within 120 days......there is no effect on your waiting time even if you submit them within 10 days.......... what exactly matter is submission within 120 days and your case transfer date ......waiting for comments....

Friend..

Your understanding of the process is correct. Most of the cases now being looked into by the VO are of Feb / March.Ofcourse, does not matter if I submit my dox the first day itself or 120 days after...it is the Transfer date that is the base of working. And ofcourse stragglers are there everywhere where the VO picks up cases in random to cause ruffled feathers among many as to why them and not us.
And the final assertion is that of the VO... he decides Which way the Cookie Crumbles. :o :o >:( ;D ;D

i think the degree of randomness is about a month, n there may be a methodological pattern rather than VO playing GOD........
suppose if there are 4 clerks(VO officials) working to finish up files of 1 month or 100 cases(may vary)...
n they distribute cases in lots of 25 each.......n cases from 76 to 100 alloted to 4th clerk tend to have time-line similar to the cases handled by first clerk.......means 1 to 25..........
this way it sounds logical to me otherwise the whole system can be questioned and the possibility of VO officials taking bribe to make it faster for some individuals cannot be ruled out........ ::) ::) :-X :-X

Dear All,

Best of luck for any status changes in ecas.
Keeping fingers crossed.

We are unlikely to see any updates to our applications until March! The New Delhi office is now taking between 7-10 months to request medical.
You may send them a query if nothing happens after 10 months of submitting full documents.

STS

Hi All

Are people getting verification calls before or after going into "In Process"?

Today my ecas status changed to In process. But the details are same as RBVO.
The address has been removed from the e-case page.

I am not sure what to make of this. Any thoughts?

Regards
STS
