I firmly believe though that it's not the courier service's fault judging by the number of people who has not received AOR's yet. It's certainly delay from CEM's part. The reason, that we dont know. Probably year-ender? I'm not too sure. I hope someone gets a reply soon.

True. Fact is, My clp and i discussed our options regarding that and expressed my sincerest concern about SEC and its costs. But he's persuaded me still to stick with Alberta since he has relatives who can at least help us settle/establish ourselves before anything else. And besides, I guess if that's what it takes for me to have a secure future there in Canada, then we think that's worth risking. Money and all. But then again, our options remains open until we get a hold of that visa!

As people have said before, Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow - that is patience!

thanks pf, yeah, that's a good idea..i'll join that group 1day to get some tips, like we need to have our docs assessed in advance eg. cga..but i'll have another day for that..

One of my prayers answered: CIC responded to my e-mail after 4 working days that they have received my full docs and I need to wait for further instructions. I am blessed, I now have peace of mind and just need to pray more for good news. :)

Hi Bonjour!

That's good to hear. It just reinforced my feelings that they have received and opened our applications already. They just have not started with our AOR because they are busy with the PPR's(Congrats to them who received their PPR's). Lapit na tayo.

How did you ask the CEM? Did they email you the AOR also?

Hi pf,

I sent CIC an email last Nov 18 and they replied this morning about the doc receipt but no 2nd AOR yet...at least I know my docs reached the right destination....I am willing to wait especially during the upcoming holidays...will keep you posted. Keep praying!

Yup, keep praying! In God's time. What's important is we know that they have our documents. =)

Its good to know that there is at least some movement at the VO. However, at this rate, it seems that we will be receiving our MR's late Feb 2011 to early Mar 2011. Hope we get better luck as we enter the new year.

i agree with you. most of us have not received our 2nd AOR. maybe in 1 month time (God willing) then MRs will be sometime in Feb or March (God let it be).... then the rest is up to Him
