Congrats to you and it's good to know you've received the 2nd AOR...To satisfy my/our curiosity, how did you send your full docs? I sent mine thru wwwexpress and somebody signed the delivery....and that was 4 weeks ago and unfortunately, no 2nd AOR yet. Do you think my docs fell on the wrong hands? I hope not because it would take me forever to replace those precious papers and the clock is ticking...Would sending the Manila VO an e-mail within the week inquiring the receipt of full docs be a good idea? Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

HI THERE, actually i already sent an email to the visa office, no reply yet. TO LUCKYCHARM- since we are nurses, i would like to ask if you already applied for CRNE??which province??? TO OTHERS- lets just hope and pray that soon our 2nd AOR will arrive soon...

I've sent my supporting documents thru dropbox in the RCBC tower. If you had yours delivered thru courier and someone from CEM signed for it, then you should have nothing to worry about. Probably delays are caused by the backlogged applications and such. Sending an inquiry email to CEM verifying receipt of docs would not hurt. Although u should be expecting their response in week/s. Anyhow, I hope you'd hear from the embassy soon!

Re: CRNE. I am scheduled to have my SEC assessment anytime next year. I believe Saskatch is the only state that doesnt require SEC before you cud sit for CRNE? (Correct me if i'm wrong though.) I had my credentials assessed by CARNA (Alberta) even before I lodged my fsw application to canada. What i did was I just resubmitted my recent acad ielts test report form and other pertinent documents they asked. And Voila! Mount Royal College sent me a letter of invitation to do the SEC assessment in Calgary Alberta.

I'm not sure if i would be able to take the SEC as soon as i got there though. I perused some sites and found out that the exams are super tough and to top that, they cost a lot too. So we'd probably decide on that when we land (keeping our fingers crossed!)

Thanks luckycharm for quick reply. The thing is, I would not know if the person who signed and received the delivery works for CEM or not, especially knowing that 2nd AOR is normally issued via e-mail within days or one week after successful delivery/receipt. Anyhow, this morning, I have sent CEM an email verifying whether my full docs were successfully received or not. I do hope they would promptly respond to ease my agony.

thanks for the reply. yes actually my first option was alberta then i downloaded forms and read sites about CARNA then i observed that almost all nurses take the SEC, i mean that takes an extra dollar for us right? so i shifted to Saskatchewan, i already submitted all including that of PRC and School... hey already replied that im on queue and sent me application number... Praying for the best...
