FULL DOCS TO MANILA VISA OFFICE OCT-DEC 2010

I've added some info. I'm planning to check the post office soon thinking that possibly, CIC sent the 2nd AOR thru snail mail and was undelivered. Another option is after the 45th day from Oct 19th and still no 2nd AOR, I will definitely inquire through e-mail if they have received my full docs or not. What do you think?

hi,, i think thats a great idea, however, I believe that the 2nd AOR is being sent thru an emailand not snail mail... Ironically after 3 days of sending my docs to VO, i inquired about my status by sending an email to them lol. no response yet.

I'm a nurse. I sent my full documents October 1, 2010 and I received my AOR October 6, 2010. :)

I received the confirmation of receipt only thru email. You still haven't received yours? Did you send your documents thru dropbox or courier?

Hi Charm,
I sent mine through DHL. Unfortunately, I have not received any notification whatsoever. I'm still hoping that I get the AOR before the end of the month, otherwise I think it would already come out in January considering that things slow down in December. Thanks for the info and good luck.

Have you sent an inquiry regarding the matter? I've read in some threads here that people who verified it with the visa office got a positive result afterwards (i.e., receiving the aor). Though it may also take a couple of days or weeks for a reponse. Best of Luck. :)

Thanks for the advise. I just sent an inquiry to the Manila VO regarding the matter. I have also compiled averages of waiting times (in days) per stage of processing in the Manila VO for applicants in July 2010 (info taken from another forum). Here is what I got:
Full Docs Sent to 2nd AOR --- 8 days
2nd AOR to MR --- 70 days
Completion of MR --- 23 days
MR Submitted to PPR --- 10 days
PPR to Visa Issued --- 30 days
This is very encouraging, however, I think processing is slowing during the end of the year due to holidays. That is the reason why I think there are a lot of us who have not yet received their AOR.

Is that so. Well they need to manage the number of new applications or risk creating new backlogs and longer processing times. Or maybe they are slowly reaching the required cap in each occupation for a the fiscal year. Both ways, hope to hear some good news on the following weeks ahead! Think positive! :)
 
Little Flower - are you in Manila filing as a FSW? My friend who applied under your same category and who submitted full docs to Manila VO on September 13 has not received her 2nd AOR...

Lets just be patient and pray! Sa kabilang forum, sunod sunod na ang PPR nila. Malay nyo, pag dating ng 2nd AOR, MR kaagad in no time!
 
Haha. Amen to that. As i was reading their posts too, i just cant help but feel these pangs of jealousy. Dont get me wrong im very happy for them. Besides, in a few months time.. I know it's gonna be our turn!

Soon enough on this thread.. it will be raining MR's and PPR's and ultimately, VISAS! :):):)
