Mine is also showing only IN PROCESS. CIO review complete has been removed. Earlier I was able to access ecas with Old(Bxxxxxxxxx) and New(Exxxxxxxxx) & UCI number file number. Now old one is not accessable.

My File number on 2nd AOR is old one ......Is there any diff of some persons are gets 2 file number's and some gets same only...

Please clear this point.

I think my full docs were received some time early November in Delhi. I still havent got any type of communication from the delhi office. Is this period normal. I also keep checking my status and still it shows my old address inspite of repeated requests to update it. I am not sure if anything was sent to my old address. Kindly guide

Now January applicants are getting AOR from CHC so yours have been lost somewhere or might be sent to your old address. you should check with your post office.

Thanks for the advice. I am tensed now. I live in Canada and people at my old address are not responding at all. is there a way that I can contact CIC New Delhi and ask them. Do they encourage that under my circumstances.

Yes you can send them mail and ask for acknowledgement of your docs, you can update them regarding your new address as well. email id is as follow

As per my guess those who have deposited the RPRF fees along with the documents would get Old file Number, means refund applicable and those who have just submitted the documents and no RPRF fees would get a new file number. means refund not applicable.

Correct me if I am wrong.

It seems that if VO has checked the eligibility, then they create new file by transferring file from CIO. At this stage PSDEC is completed. After this they start the real process, testing the docs agst the parameters age, qual, exp, lang etc. This is the stage where no refund is applicable. In nut shell new files are created when they trf file from CIO.
