hey guys

Can any of you please answer my question?

thank you so much.

Sorry dark_knight , I don't have much information on this topic. May be senior members know better.

Here is the summary of those who have applied under FSWP in Jan 2013.

Name Received at CIO

Ad1982. Jan 9
Pavlomar Jan 9
Katty Jan 4
Itsmyid

Lets try to keep this updated with latest information.

Dear dark_knight ,
everything is really simple... :)
If you want to immigrate under FSWP you have two options:
1. Wait till May 2013 and apply without job offer
2. Get a job offer asap and apply right after you'll get a job offer
the only thing that you have to consider is that your prospective job position shall be NOC 0, A or B
www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/html/Matrix.html

PER - phase: eligibility review
AOR - acknowledgement of receipt
eCAS - electronic Check Application Status
I've got it.... 8)

Thanks for the reply!!!

Well, one question in my mind now!!!

1)Is it possible to apply for fswp without job offer.

2)can you submit your documents when you are looking for a job.

3) is fsw1 still in existence. If yes, then what are the criteria. Is is still necessary to score clb7 band in IELTS?

4) or do we wait till May'2013.

Thanks
Roshmi

Hey guys,

I applied under FSW arranged employment as well, just a little earlier, July 17. 2012 , application sent and Sept. 21 2012, passed the Review phase, then nothing till now.
I saw on CIC that the processing time right now for CPPO is only 8 months. Any body knows anything about the processing time? Is it really 8 months now? I thought the time would be 12-18 months.

My guess is that processing time is shorter nowadays because of this:
"As of July 1, 2012, CIC has temporarily stopped accepting applications for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). This temporary pause does not apply to those with a qualifying job offer or applying under the PhD stream"
Does anybody has some other ideas?
What was the processing time before?

don't ever trust what they published on CIC website about processing time. Even with the pause, there are still tons of backlogged old cases all piled up there
