hello everyone, just received a call from DHL, our visas are ready to be delivered to us today. Thank you Lord!
for reference of those in passport waiting club, our timeline as follows;

Passport sent to CEM (from SG via fedex) - 4 May 15
Passport received by CEM - 5 May 15
Decision Made - 15 May 15
Processing time - 5 weeks from receipt of passports
This means processing of our visas is still early against the normal 6 to 8 weeks time from receipt of passport.

All the best to all of you. I will include you all in my prayers.

Hello po, July Applicant here from SG but applied through an agency sa Pinas. Kaka register ko lng sa FORUM nato. Although, matagal na kong lurker dito. lol. Dati kasi, palaging kinakabahan at nalulungkot ako para sa sarili ko pag nakita ko na nakareceive na mostly sa inyo ng MR at napa busy din sa work as OFW. But Praise the Lord! Kasama din pala ako dun sa naka receive ng MR. hehe. ;D

App Sent: July 16, 2014
App Received: July 23, 2014
PER Received: November 19, 2014
2nd Line ECAS: May 22, 2015
MR Received: May 26, 2015
MR Done: June 6, 2015
PPR: Waiting...

Gusto kung magpasalamat sa FORUM nato at sa lahat ng tao behind this. Ang dami ko talaga natutunan kahit na lurker lng ako dito. hehe. Sana dumating na PPR soon. Pero ang problema, hanggang July 2016 nalang validity ng Passport ko. Pwede pa kaya yun???

On our case, August 2016 ang expiry date ng passport namin..done Medicals on May 6, renewed passports on May 7, passport released schedule is on June 25 yet...PPR received June 3...so what we did was:

June 5 emailed to CEM re requesting for some consideration and/or extension as we are anticipating that we might not be able to catch up for the 30 days lead time.

June 8, received reply from CEM granting extension for PP submission until July 10.

In your case, suggest that you renew your passport..

I have the same question. I've researched through online sites. Aside from which airline to take (as of now, we found PAL to be the cheapest one if the route is MNL-YTZ), is it cheaper to buy online or through a travel agent?

Me isa pa kami concern, the PAL flight to Toronto has a stop over in Vancouver. We also learned from the CIIP seminar that we have to apply our PR card at the first airport that we land in Canada even if its not our final destination. If we take the PAL MNL-YTZ flight with stop over at Vancouver, it means Vancouver will be our first airport to land. Does this mean we need to have a longer stop over in Vancouver to finish what ever process we have to do?
